Dr. Kashyap received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, where she studied structural characterization of interaction of mixed linkage polyubiquitin chains with the ubiquitin interacting motifs of epsin1. Her postdoctoral research at the Food and Drug Administration involved evaluating viral hemagglutinin proteins for influenza vaccine production.
