Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Ward was an attorney at a law firm in Wilmington, Delaware. He completed his graduate work at the University of Michigan studying the role of gene mutations in pituitary development and did postdoctoral research at the Baylor College of Medicine studying the role of nuclear hormone receptors in cancer. His technical expertise includes biochemistry, molecular biology, and endocrinology.
