Richard Hanna is Partner with the firm. Mr. Hanna has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting domestic, foreign, and international patent applications. He assists companies of all sizes, including start-ups and international corporations, to strategically develop and manage intellectual property portfolios consistent with business goals. Mr. Hanna also has significant experience in due diligence, freedom-to-operate, opinion, and litigation support work. Mr. Hanna’s technical practice areas include medical devices, life sciences technologies, e-health, manufacturing technologies, software, and telecommunications technologies.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hanna spent seven years with a Washington, DC based intellectual property boutique law firm. Prior to his career as an attorney, Mr. Hanna spent several years designing and developing medical devices for a start-up.
