Teresa U. Medler has been a Principal with the firm since its founding in 2005. She has extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of domestic, foreign and international patent applications related to the mechanical arts, with particular emphasis on medical devices, injection molding to include hot runner technology and systems, touch feedback technology, and consumer products.

Ms. Medler counsels and assists clients ranging from individual inventors to international corporations with strategic patent planning, due diligence issues, freedom-to-operate issues, as well as validity, infringement, and patentability opinions. In addition to being admitted to practice in the jurisdictions and federal agency noted above, Ms. Medler is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Medler spent seven years as an associate with a Washington, D.C. based intellectual property boutique law firm.
