Jun S. Ha is an associate with extensive experience in patent procurement in various electrical and electromechanical technologies, including wireless communication (LTE, 5G, WiFi), mobile devices, software, home appliances, image forming devices, semiconductors, and medical devices. He assists clients in all stages of patent preparation and prosecution for US and non-US patent applications. He also has experience in conducting patentability investigations and preparing claim charts to map claims to patent specifications and industry standards.
Prior to joining the firm, Jun spent over 10 years at intellectual property law firms in the Washington, DC area and general practice law firms in Southern California. Before law school, he was an engineering researcher where he improved 3D medical ultrasound imaging techniques and developed a unique method to measure blood flow using ultrasound Doppler.
While attending law school, Jun served as an associate editor for the Villanova’s Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. He was also a recipient of the Deirdre L. Bailey Leadership Scholarship during law school. He received his bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and biomedical engineering, and his master’s degree in biomedical engineering.
Jun is fluent in Korean.
