Albert L. Ferro has been a Principal with the firm since its founding in 2005. He has extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications related to mechanical devices, biomedical devices, injection molding, and consumer products.

He also counsels and assists clients with strategic patent planning, due diligence issues, freedom-to-operate issues, as well as validity, infringement, and patentability opinions. Mr. Ferro also has extensive experience with patent reexaminations and interferences.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ferro was associated with a Washington, D.C. based intellectual property boutique law firm. Mr. Ferro is a veteran, having served in the United States Navy as an officer in the Civil Engineer Corps.

Mr. Ferro is proficient in speaking the Spanish language.
